Spring Break!!

So it has been Spring Break for the kids and we have not done much at all. I got off work for the weekend wanting to go to the dunes, or something fun. Instead we went to see Horton Hears A Who on Saturday afternoon. It was not that bad actually. The kids laughed alot which makes it totally worth it. This was our first time back to the movies in probably one year. The last movie we saw was Ratatulle(?), which Clay and I spent our turn in the hall with Griffin. Before that we probably hadn't been to the movie in 2-3 years in fact the movie was Finding Nemo. But before the kids came we still hadn't gone to the movies in like 5 years because Clay hates the theatre. He always seems to get by the person that talks the entire movie, or someone kicking his chair, someone chewing really loud. HE HATES IT!! So anyway, my SIL, Cami gave him tickets for Christmas and so we used them with the kids. So THANK YOU Cami!!!

To keep you all up to date: about a month ago I cut my hair. Another 11 inches!! I actually really like it. It is probably the first time that I have had a hair style, and Clay is so excited. He has bugged me for years to style it so that I had to do it and not just put it up in a ponytail, or braid. I have been wanting to for years but seemed to go and get it cut for Locks of Love, but never get it styled. Then on Easter Sunday my sis, Megan said that she was getting her hair cut the next day, so if she could be brave (and I mean very brave) than so could I. She called me a few days later to tell me that she cut it and that she liked it, so I decided to join in and do it too. It is a little past my shoulders and layered with some longer bangs. I hate to take pics of myself, so you may not ever see it unless I happen to be a pic with the kids. IF that ever happens, I will post it.

It is so late and I have to go to bed now, the kids go back to school tomorrow. I guess I need to be able to get up and take them to school. Since we moved to Smithfield in December, we kept them going to school in River Heights, which is where we used to live, which is about 20 miles and about 30 mins in the am with all the bus zones. The drive sucks so on Mon, Wed, and Fri when Justice has preschool we just go up to Clay's parents house which is about 7 mins from the school and hang out before and after preschool. It seems like a wasted day, so on Tues, and Thurs when he has no school we just take Kaila in and then turn around and go back home so I can actually get things done at home for a few hours before we have to back to pick her up. This sucks did I say that already??? We have no idea what school to put them in next year because if the house sells we don't really know where are building yet so Justice is pre-registered at a few schools for Kindergarten. Okay I really need to go to bed now, I will see if there is anything to blog about in the am. Good Night!!

My First Post!

So this is my first post and I am not sure if any one will even read any of them, but I am going to attempt this blogging thing. I have enjoyed reading blogs, but I am not in any way techinical, so don't expect anything wonderful. I mostly want to blog so that my family will be able to keep tabs on me. Since I live in Smithfield, my parents in American Fork, my sisters are in American Fork, and Pleasant Grove, my brothers in Salt Lake and Pekin, IL. So this may be a way for me to feel a little more connected to all of them. I don't get to visit as often as I would like so I am asking them... Dad, Mom, Troy, Connie, Marisa, Neil, Randy, Wendy, Megan and Andy please read this every now and again to make it worth writing. Also, Clays family I hope will read every now and then as well. So...Todd, LuAnn, Cami, Tony, Lindsay, Julie, Brady, and Jon please read once in a while. I would like to challenge everyone to make a blog page so that we all can see pictures of eachother and read about how everyone is doing on more of a daily basis. My SIL Julie and BIL Brady are leaving to Ohio in July for Brady to attend Med School for Podiatry and so we will need to keep up with them. And with Troy and Connie and their family away from us in Pekin, IL we don't really get to visit with them much. Blogs seem to be the way to keep in touch now, because you can put it out there and they can read when and if they want, and on their own time. So thank you to my friend Annilee for getting me interested in the whole blog world. I visit your site all the time, and visit a lot of your links, so keep it updated. Also, to Heather, thank you for letting me know about your blog, now I am able to see what you are up to, I also visit your links and was able to find Kelli. It is so fun to link over and read how everyone is doing and seeing pics of everyones kids, husbands, and things going on in your lifes. So thank you to all of you bloggers out there!!! So this is not the best first post, but I can work on it right? Hopefully I will be able to learn how to add pictures soon. Bye!
